She loves spending time with family and friends at her home in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and has been involved with the Shaw Festival (fundraising and communications) for more than 15 years. Tumaini House, an orphanage in Arusha, Tanzania, holds a special place in her heart, after she spent time teaching there.
